Job Description
TITLE
Registered Nurse - Critical Care

SCHEDULE
36-hour Night Shift, 7:00 pm - 7:30 am, every 3rd weekend and holiday

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36

REQUIREMENTS
- Current RN License
- ACLS upon hire OR must hold an active BLS card and obtain AHA ACLS within 60 days of hire
- 1 year of medical-surgical experience preferred
- Previous telemetry experience required
- ICU experience preferred

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions, plans of care, and patient goals.
- Provide patient care following established standards, protocols, and procedures.
- Deliver patient and family education based on identified needs and barriers to learning.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members for effective discharge planning.
- Delegate and supervise nursing interventions effectively.
- Document all pertinent data and patient responses accurately and timely.
- Identify and address patient safety risks and report incidents appropriately.
- Administer medications and intravenous therapy per protocols and physician orders.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Background checks and drug screens may be required.
