Key Responsibilities

• You will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for patients referred by physicians, ensuring that every patient receives tailored care based on their unique needs.
• This role entails treating a diverse array of patient specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine, allowing for a varied and enriching work experience.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to improving departmental efficiencies through effective communication and collaboration.
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes utilizing evidence-based practices, participating in regular case reviews, and treatment planning sessions.
• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions directly at patients' homes, using specified procedures that align with their physician's treatment plan to achieve optimal functional outcomes.
• Consult and educate patients and their caregivers, equipping them with the knowledge needed for effective self-management and recovery.
• Achieve and maintain minimum utilization goals and contribute positively to the practice's business objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice will primarily involve working with a wide variety of patients, reflecting the diverse community we serve in Chantilly. You will develop therapeutic relationships that empower patients to achieve and exceed their rehabilitation goals, working closely with individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions, as well as young athletes looking to return to their sport.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited academic institution and a valid state license as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting is required, demonstrating your ability to provide high-quality care.
• Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety in emergency situations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey patient education and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Proficient in computer software and word processing skills to document patient progress accurately and maintain communication within the practice.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a rehabilitation center or similar setting is preferred.
• Experience in specialized treatment areas such as sports therapy, pediatric therapy, or geriatric rehabilitation would be advantageous.
• Proficiency in developing community health initiatives or wellness programs.

Compensation and Benefits
