Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and therapeutic sessions with individuals, couples, and families.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based practices to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to meet the specific needs of your clients.

• Facilitating therapy sessions focused on resolving issues related to alcohol abuse, conflicts among family members, grief and loss, blended families, separation and divorce, and communication difficulties.

• Monitoring client progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment interventions.
\n
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for patients.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of clinical sessions and client interactions in accordance with practice protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, including but not limited to adults, adolescents, and families facing a myriad of challenges. Your specialized knowledge will address areas such as:

• Alcohol abuse and its effects on family dynamics
\n
• Addressing conflicts among family members and enhancing communication skills
\n
• Supporting clients through grief, loss, and transitions such as divorce or remarriage

• Guide parents and children in blended family situations and navigate the complexities involved

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

• Current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
\n
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to clinical excellence.

Preferred Experience\n

We welcome both newly licensed and experienced candidates. A background in providing therapy in community health settings will be advantageous. Flexible availability for client sessions is preferred, aiming for a commitment of 30 hours or more per week.
