Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures, providing clear and compassionate explanations throughout
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure premium quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate imaging devices, promptly addressing any technical issues
• Accurately document procedures and maintain patient information in the electronic medical record system
• Stay updated on trends and advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and methodologies

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Professional Certifications

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or its equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus
