Sales Account Manager (Life Sciences)

The Position: Eclipse Automation is seeking a results-driven Sales Account Manager – Life Sciences to drive growth across the organization. This is a position responsible for managing key accounts, developing new business opportunities, and delivering custom automation and engineered solutions. The ideal candidate will bring 4–7+ years of sales experience in custom automation or engineered-to-order solutions, along with a technical or engineering background to effectively engage with customer engineering teams and internal stakeholders. What You’ll be doing: Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth. Identify, pursue, and close complex custom automation and engineered system opportunities Lead the full sales lifecycle, from opportunity development through contract negotiation and project handoff Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across engineering, operations, procurement, and executive leadership Collaborate with internal engineering and application teams to develop and deliver tailored technical solutions Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast to meet or exceed revenue targets Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging Life Science technologies. Travel Expectation of travel up to 30-50% of the time could be anticipated, however this may be exceeded in exceptional circumstances to meet sales or project needs What We’re Looking For: Required 4-7+ years of sales experience in custom automation, engineered systems, or capital equipment Proven track record of closing complex, technical sales opportunities Experience within Life Science related markets Strong consultative selling, communication, and negotiation skills Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or similar) Experience with applications engineering, robotics, automated manufacturing systems, or system integration Familiarity with CRM systems and structured sales processes Why Join Us: Here at Eclipse Automation, creation and innovation are at our core, and our culture reflects that.
