Salary: $65,000-$90,000 DOE

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee the full-cycle AP function within a fast-paced logistics environment. This role will manage a team of three Accounts Payable Specialists and ensure the accurate and timely processing of high-volume invoices, vendor payments, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of 3 AP Specialists, including training, performance management, and workflow prioritization
  
• Oversee full-cycle accounts payable operations including invoice processing, coding, approvals, and payment execution
  
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of high-volume invoices, wire transfers, ACH, and check runs
  
• Monitor and enforce internal controls, company policies, and compliance with accounting standards
  
• Partner with operations, procurement, and finance teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes
  
• Review and approve invoice batches, payment runs, and vendor reconciliations
  
• Manage vendor relationships, including handling escalations and resolving payment issues
  
• Prepare AP aging reports, accruals, and assist with month-end and year-end close
  
• Support audits by providing required documentation and responding to inquiries
  
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency within AP workflows
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounts payable experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
  
• Experience managing high-volume AP in logistics, transportation, distribution, or a similar industry preferred
  
• Strong understanding of full-cycle AP processes and internal controls
  
• Experience supervising and developing a team
  
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
  
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis)
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  

Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
