Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Attorney

Build a Career Advocating for Injured Clients Alex Hanna Law is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Pre-Suit Attorney to manage and resolve personal injury claims before litigation. This position is ideal for an attorney who enjoys negotiating with insurance companies, maximizing client recoveries, and resolving cases efficiently while maintaining exceptional client service. The successful candidate will exercise independent legal judgment, evaluate liability and damages, negotiate directly with insurance adjusters and defense representatives, and determine when litigation is necessary to protect the client's interests. Responsibilities Manage a pre-suit personal injury caseload from intake through settlement or litigation referral. Evaluate liability, damages, insurance coverage, and case value. Develop case strategy to maximize settlement value. Review medical records, bills, liens, and supporting documentation. Prepare and oversee settlement demand packages. Negotiate directly with insurance adjusters and defense representatives. Counsel clients regarding settlement offers, risks, and litigation options. Identify cases requiring litigation and coordinate seamless transfer to litigation counsel. Supervise and mentor case managers and support staff. Ensure timely communication with clients throughout representation. Maintain accurate case documentation and comply with firm procedures. Qualifications Required Active member of The Florida Bar. Minimum 3 years of personal injury pre-suit, insurance defense, bodily injury claims, or civil litigation experience. Excellent case evaluation and analytical ability. Experience handling bodily injury claims. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload. Preferred Plaintiff personal injury experience. Insurance defense experience involving bodily injury claims. Experience negotiating with major insurance carriers, including GEICO, Progressive, State Farm, Allstate, USAA, and Travelers.
