What You ll Do

• Provide outpatient and inpatient Otolaryngology care within a busy hospital system
• Manage both assigned and unassigned patient cases, including rounding on hospitalized patients
• Perform ENT procedures and consultations on adult patients (18+)
• Respond to call during scheduled weekends with a 15-20 minute response time
• Collaborate with support staff, including RNs and office personnel, to deliver high-quality care
• Document patient encounters using Athena and Cerner EMR systems
• Follow hospital protocols for admissions, stroke care, and trauma support

What You Need

• Active California medical license (or IMLC is unacceptable)
• Board Certified in Otolaryngology (Fellowship required)
• Minimum 50 case logs within the last 24 months
• Current certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
• Experience in both outpatient and inpatient ENT care, supporting a fast-paced environment
• Ability to commit fully to the scheduled dates and shifts

This assignment is with a leading hospital in Turlock, CA, featuring 209 beds, with coverage for both inpatient and outpatient Otolaryngology services. The facility is stroke-certified and offers robust support staff including RNs and administrative personnel. You will be responsible for managing adult ENT cases, providing consults, and responding to code calls during your on-call hours. Rounding and admissions are part of the routine, ensuring comprehensive patient care during your shift.
