What You ll Do

• Provide expert Otolaryngology consultation and care for adult patients
• Participate in inpatient and outpatient services, including rounding and admissions
• Respond to scheduled weekend call from 7:00 am to 7:00 am the following day
• Manage approximately 0-3 patients during on-call shifts
• Collaborate with support staff and hospital team for patient care delivery
• Document patient interactions using Athena or Cerner EMR systems
• Fulfill assigned duties with professionalism and clinical expertise during the short-term assignment

What You Need
Required:

• Active California state medical license or eligible for licensure
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology
• Minimum 50 case logs in past 24 months
• Certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
• Availability for full schedule from 8/5 to 8/10, 2026

Preferred:

• Experience in hospital-based Otolaryngology
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments

About the Assignment
This assignment is at a prominent hospital with 209 beds, designated stroke-certified and trauma-eligible. You will provide inpatient and outpatient Otolaryngology services, including rounding, admissions, and emergency responses during scheduled weekend call shifts. The facility supports a multidisciplinary team dedicated to patient-centered care, and imaging/EMR documentation will be performed using Athena or Cerner systems.
