Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Paraprofessional (IL PARA) certification is required
- Documented experience working with students who have higher functional and academic needs
- Familiarity with instructional support in elementary settings preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff
- Patience, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit
Responsibilities:
- Assist instructional staff with delivery of lesson plans and individualized instruction
- Support students in both small group and whole-class settings
- Help manage classroom routines, ensuring a structured and welcoming environment
- Implement accommodations guided by teachers and special education plans
- Provide encouragement, reinforcement, and appropriate behavioral support
- Participate in staff meetings or training sessions as needed
Schedule: Work alongside dedicated educators from 8:40am-3:20pm during the 26/27 school year, making each school day count for students who benefit most from your enthusiasm and care.
