Business Analyst, AI Workflow Transformation

Salary: $81,500 - 108,600 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, consulting, or transformation work.
• Hands-on experience facilitating workshops and capturing business requirements.
• Strong proficiency in process mapping and analytical problem solving.
• Experience partnering with senior business stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation abilities.
• Ability to turn complex business challenges into structured requirements and actionable plans.
• Preferred: experience with AI, Microsoft Copilot, automation, workflow transformation, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Preferred: experience with Agile methods and user story development.
• Preferred: knowledge of improvement frameworks such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement.
• Preferred: familiarity with tools such as Visio, Miro, Power Platform, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Preferred: experience in healthcare, distribution, supply chain, finance, or shared services.

• Lead discovery sessions and process-mapping workshops with business stakeholders.
• Document current-state workflows, including pain points, decision points, handoffs, and dependencies.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, customer experience, and operational performance.
• Analyze workflow metrics such as volume, cycle time, error rate, and business impact.
• Collaborate with business leaders to redesign workflows using AI, Copilot, automation, and process enhancements.
• Help define future-state operating models and business processes.
• Spot opportunities to remove waste, reduce manual work, and streamline operations.
• Facilitate prioritization conversations using established scoring methods.
• Translate business needs into detailed requirements and user stories.
• Define acceptance criteria and expected business outcomes.
• Partner with Product Owners and solution teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood.
• Maintain documentation throughout the transformation lifecycle.
• Build strong relationships with business leaders, SMEs, and cross-functional teams.
• Align business objectives with technology solutions.
• Present findings, recommendations, and business cases to leadership audiences.
• Act as a trusted advisor throughout the transformation journey.
• Establish baseline KPIs and success measures.
• Support business case development and ROI estimates.
• Track transformation outcomes and business impact.
• Work with reporting and analytics teams to measure results and adoption.
