Senior Employment Litigation Associate
This role presents an opportunity for a seasoned legal professional to significantly impact employment litigation within a dynamic firm. The Senior Employment Litigation Associate will manage complex cases from inception to resolution, engaging directly with clients and leading litigation teams. The position requires a proactive approach to case strategy and a commitment to mentoring junior attorneys. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment while demonstrating strong analytical and writing skills. Salary Range: $270,000 - $270,000 / Year DOE
Senior Employment Litigation Associate Responsibilities
- Independently manage employment litigation matters, including drafting and responding to discovery and pleadings
- Draft and argue dispositive and non-dispositive motions
- Take and defend depositions, appear at hearings, and lead mediations
- Communicate directly with clients regarding case strategy
- Supervise and mentor junior attorneys
- Collaborate effectively with litigation teams
Senior Employment Litigation Associate Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in employment litigation
- Significant experience managing cases from inception through resolution
- Experience in labor and employment law, including wage-and-hour claims and discrimination matters
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent academic credentials with strong writing and analytical skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in handling case strategy
- Experience in a smaller boutique firm or a desire to transition from a larger firm is preferred
