Shift: 3x12 Nights
Assignment Details
Patient ratio: 1:6
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years RN experience
- Travel experience required
- State or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Experience with ortho trauma and total joint care preferred
- Proficient in wound care and surgical drain management
- Basic telemetry skills required
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics in an orthopedic medical-surgical setting
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor vital signs and manage patient pain
- Assist in pre and post-operative care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
- Participate in rapid response and code team efforts
Compliance / Notes
Orientation modules to be completed onsite; estimated time is 46 hours for RNs. Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler.
