The role requires an adaptable and experienced pediatric RN to support a variety of clinical needs, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Position: RN Medical/Surgical (Pediatrics)
• Location: Confidential healthcare facility setting
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, minimum 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 01/05/2027
• End Date: 04/10/2027
• Experience Requirements: Minimum 2 years Pediatric RN experience in a large pediatric facility, with at least 2 years of specialty experience.
• Certifications: BLS required
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Unit Information: 82 private beds, patient ratio of 1:3-4 (occasionally 1:2 based on acuity), with a modified self-scheduling system.
• Scheduling Requirements: 10 weekend shifts per 8-week scheduling block; holiday shifts as needed.
• Additional Responsibilities: Support for ventilator management, IV placement, medication administration including drips, complex patient assessments, and equipment use such as IV pumps and ventilators.
• Vaccination: Seasonal Influenza Vaccination policy applies.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates should be able to provide valid certifications and meet the experience criteria listed.
