Location: Times Square, New York, NY

We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and guest-focused Restaurant General Manager to lead a high-volume, full-service restaurant in the heart of Times Square. Responsibilities:

• Oversee all daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, service, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.

• Lead, coach, and develop front-of-house and back-of-house management teams and hourly employees.

• Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and retain team members while fostering a positive, accountable workplace culture.

• Manage labor costs, food and beverage costs, inventory, purchasing, and overall restaurant profitability.

• Monitor sales, labor reports, budgets, and other key performance indicators to achieve financial goals.

• Maintain consistent service standards and ensure smooth operations during high-volume shifts, peak dining hours, and special events.

• Resolve guest concerns professionally and build a welcoming atmosphere for both local guests and visitors.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and applicable New York City regulations.

• Partner with ownership and leadership to implement operational initiatives, improve performance, and drive revenue growth.

• Maintain effective communication between front-of-house, culinary, and senior leadership teams.

• Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reporting.

• Lead by example on the floor, remaining visible and actively involved in service execution.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Restaurant General Manager or in a comparable senior restaurant leadership role.

• Experience managing a high-volume, full-service restaurant is strongly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of restaurant financials, including P&L management, labor controls, and food and beverage cost management.

• Proven ability to recruit, develop, and motivate diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and guest recovery skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a strong attention to detail.

• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

• A hands-on leadership style with a strong commitment to hospitality, accountability, and operational excellence.
