Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate clients' needs and collaboratively develop tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to deliver high-quality treatment.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups where clients can share experiences and learn coping strategies in a community setting.

• Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure a comprehensive treatment approach.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support, utilizing your expertise to assist clients experiencing acute mental health challenges.

• Educate clients about their mental health conditions, treatment options available to them, and community resources they can access for additional support.

• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment processes in compliance with legal standards and ethical guidelines.

• Engage actively in professional development through case consultations, team meetings, and continued education opportunities.

• Stay informed about advancements in therapeutic practices to incorporate new findings into your clinical approach.

You will work with a varied clientele, including individuals struggling with mood and anxiety disorders, substance use issues, and relational challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Strong ability to perform comprehensive assessments and formulate effective and personalized treatment strategies.

• Demonstrated experience in providing therapy to both individual clients and groups from various demographic backgrounds.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build trust and rapport with clients.

• Sound clinical judgment with a commitment to ethical practice and maintaining professional boundaries.

• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and digital communication tools.

Preferred Experience\n

While the minimum qualifications are essential, candidates with experience in telehealth, a background in working with specific populations such as LGBTQ+ or veteran communities, and familiarity with integrated treatment models will be particularly advantageous. Candidates who have participated in prior professional development activities or have a proven track record of client advocacy will stand out.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The expected salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
