Housekeeping Manager

Sheraton Tribeca New York Hotel is seeking a motivated individual looking for career growth. This position is ideal for someone looking to become a Director of Housekeeping. The Housekeeping Manager will work closely with the Director of Housekeeping and the Director of Operations: Responsibilities may include: Developing team schedules Purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment as needed while adhering to forecasted expenses Assisting hotel guests who have specific housekeeping needs Coordinating housekeeping needs with other hotel department managers, including front office, engineering, F&B, and Sales Ensure and control compliance with all brand and hotel policies and standards Review the daily business levels, anticipate critical situations, and plan effective solutions to best expedite these situations Be on time at all meetings or announce in advance your representative Inspect guest rooms and ensure that the team is maintaining public spaces Assist in driving GSS Cleanliness Scores Guest Services and Quality Assurance: Always control the quality of the service and product Handle guest complaints independently according to the hotel's philosophy Ensure that all staff is knowledgeable on current information Conduct pre-shift meetings with staff and review all information pertinent to the day’s business Conduct regular department meeting Please note to be considered for this position. You must have prior Hotel Experience in the housekeeping department in a supervisory or managerial role.
