Job Overview Jackson Lewis P.C. is a law firm specializing in employment and labor law. This position is located in Hartford, CT. Duties and Responsibilities Defend employers in all aspects of lawsuits and administrative charges involving a broad range of employment‑related claims. Provide advice and counsel to employers on every aspect of the employment relationship. Skills and Educational Requirements JD from an ABA accredited law school and excellent academic credentials. 5+ years of litigation experience, employment law background strongly preferred. Judicial clerkship experience considered as litigation experience. Active CT bar admission or ability to obtain admission quickly. Understanding of current court and employment‑related agency procedures (state and federal). Excellent written and oral communication skills. Attention to detail and commitment to excellence. Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment. Strong organizational, time‑management, and project‑management skills. Commitment to professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork, with ability to work independently. Salary and Benefits For Connecticut, the expected salary range for this position is $180,000 - $217,500, with eligibility for annual bonuses. Compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
