The ideal candidate will be located within 50 miles of BJC at the Commons in St. Louis or the St. Luke's, BJC Health West Region Office in Kansas City. Financial Services is the department responsible for accounting and financial services for the BJC parent company and other entities, along with consolidated financial reporting for BJC HealthCare. Role Purpose Readies and maintains financial and business transactions, applying accounting principles that are analytical and evaluative, requiring an understanding of both accounting theory and practice. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports. Prepare journal entries and related analysis, including variance analysis of budget vs. actual results for assigned areas, providing explanations for any material variances. Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts. Maintain general ledger in conformance with generally accepted accounting principles.
