Front Desk Associate – PureGym US Job Overview This role is called a Mood Lifter, but until that term becomes common, we use the title Front Desk Associate. Mood Lifters greet members with smiles, enthusiasm, and know everyone by name. They open doors, adjust TV channels, and go above and beyond to create a positive atmosphere. Responsibilities Greet every member and guest with enthusiasm and a smile Tour potential members around the club with the goal of enrolling them Sign members up for startup sessions with Blink Personal Trainers Answer phone calls in a professional and energetic manner Execute all opening/closing operational procedures to ensure smooth club operations Handle member requests and concerns with professionalism and urgency Participate in maintaining club cleanliness, including bending, lifting, and organizing equipment Maintain regular and punctual attendance Qualifications Enthusiastic, energetic, friendly, and personable Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to lift and move gym equipment weighing 15‑20 lbs frequently and 45 lbs occasionally Ability to remain at the front desk for majority of the day World‑class customer service skills Multi‑tasking problem‑solver who works hard Passion for fitness Compensation & Benefits Career advancement opportunities Complimentary gym membership Medical, Dental, and Vision plans (if working 30+ hours weekly) 401(k) retirement savings plan Fun working environment Pay: $16.50/hr About Blink Fitness (PureGym Group) The PureGym Group is a leading gym operator headquartered in the UK, with over 600 locations and more than 2 million members worldwide.
