Senior Credit Underwriter

General Summary/Purpose This position works under the direction of the Director of Credit Services and with the Relationship Managers to provide financial and cash flow analysis, collateral analysis, and prepare loan approval packages for the appropriate approval authorities including the Officers’ Loan Committee and the Board of Directors. Key Duties and Responsibilities Spreads and analyzes historical and projected financial statements for businesses and individuals (40%) Creates credit approval packages demonstrating an ability to assess overall credit risk and independently identify key issues related to sources of repayment, loan structure, industry risk, financial performance, collateral, and other relevant criteria across a multitude of industries and collateral types (40%) Presents, or assists in presenting, credit packages for various approval authorities including Relationship Managers, Senior Management, Officers Loan Committee, and the Board of Directors (10%) Analyzes, and prepares reports on various aspects of the bank’s loan portfolio (10%) Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or economics; Education/training equivalent to a Bachelors’ Degree; Other (please specify) General knowledge of financial statements and analysis Strong analytical ability with effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to organize and multi-task effectively in a deadline-driven environment Ability to effectively lead teams toward company goal achievement Experience Required More than three years, fewer than five years. #J-18808-Ljbffr The Paducah Bank And Trust Company
