Step into a dynamic and impactful contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist, working with K-12 students across multiple schools near Torrington and Winsted, CT. This full-time, in-person assignment spans the entire academic year from August 2026 through June 2027, with a weekly schedule of 35-37.5 hours, Monday through Friday.

Your expertise will make a difference districtwide, collaborating with educators, families, and administrators to support students’ communication and language development across various ages and abilities. The role offers valuable experience in diverse school environments and the satisfaction of fostering growth in students’ academic and social success.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Valid and current Speech Language Pathologist license for Connecticut
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• Previous experience providing speech therapy in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Comfortable commuting between multiple school sites within the district
• Commitment to in-person services for the full duration of the contract

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to K-12 students
• Complete initial assessments and ongoing evaluations
• Develop and implement IEP goals, document progress, and participate in meetings
• Work closely with teachers, other therapists, and families to support student outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely records and stay compliant with state regulations
