CAPPS GL Analyst

IDR is seeking a CAPPS GL Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Texas. This role involves providing advanced consultative services and functional support for the CAPPS Program, specifically focusing on the General Ledger (GL), Commitment Control, Budgeting, and related modules within a statewide ERP environment. The organization operates within the public sector, supporting multiple state agencies, and values expertise in system configuration, policy compliance, and cross-functional support.

Position Overview for the CAPPS GL Analyst:

• Support and maintain the core modules of the CAPPS financial system, including GL, Commitment Control, Budgeting, and Cash Receipts.
• Provide functional leadership, configuration, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for module support.
• Coordinate testing activities and manage change requests and enhancements.
• Collaborate with other modules and ensure policy compliance within the system.
• Assist with user training, reporting, analytics, and release management to ensure smooth system operations.

Requirements for the CAPPS GL Analyst:

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of State of Texas applicable policies.
• Extensive technical skillsets needed with App Designer, Integration Broker, assorted SQR/SQL, BI Publisher, SAP Business Objects, etc.
• Extensive knowledge supporting and providing oversight with batch jobs, i.e., Run My Jobs (RMJ).
• Extensive knowledge of security best practices, NIST standards, and multi-tenancy applicability for a statewide ERP instance.
• Extensive experience supporting the General Ledger/Commitment Control core module of PeopleSoft FSCM version 9.2.
