You’ll tackle challenges like:

• Orchestrating seamless material movement between manufacturing departments.
• Producing daily progress, transaction, cycle count, and open MO reporting to keep everyone aligned.
• Maintaining tight control of WIP to the plan.
• Reconciling Shop Floor Manager (SFM) activity with ERP—transactions, quantities, and locations—so the digital thread matches the floor.
• Identifying floor stock and creating replenishment milk runs that keep lines fed.
• Acting as the shop-floor liaison to Purchasing for material reviews and right-sized replenishment quantities.
• Implementing improvements through safety stock and Kanban to reduce shortages and excess.
• Ensuring the production schedule is current so teams have complete visibility to all components for in-process MOs.
• Owning ad hoc projects and deep-dive analyses to solve emerging issues.

What sets you up for success

• HS diploma or GED (or equivalent experience); AS in Operations is a plus.
• Experience in a discrete manufacturing setting.
• Process-discipline mindset with strong analytical chops.
• Judgment to sustain new processes and drive standard work.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and improvement-minded; relentless about results.
• Professional communicator—verbal, written, and electronic.
• Detail-obsessed and highly organized.
• Comfort with MS Great Plains ERP, MES for labor/material transactions, MS Office; exposure to MS Dynamics 365 is advantageous.

Bring these strengths

• Leadership and supervisory experience on the shop floor.
• CNC tooling, CNC programming, and G-code fluency.
• CNC machine installation, setup/changeover, and repair know-how.
• Production planning and scheduling fundamentals.
• ISO 9001 quality system familiarity.
• Warehouse operations experience.
• Workplace safety/EHS management; OSHA 10-Hour (OSHA 10).
• Spanish language skills.
• Knowledge of Workers’ Compensation processes.
