Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Special Education Teachers are needed for two contract positions in the vibrant Phoenix, AZ area for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. These roles offer a chance to empower students in supportive, well-resourced environments, working closely with a dedicated team of educators and support staff.

Position Details:

• Contract Dates: July 30, 2026 – May 19, 2027
• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• W2 contract with compensation ranging from $40-45 per hour based on experience

• Ongoing support from a dedicated assignment specialist

Available Openings: Position 1:

• Grade level: Kindergarten-1st Grade
• Classroom: ASD self-contained, with 2 supportive paraprofessionals
• Teacher hours: 7:15am – 3:15pm; student hours 7:45am – 2:45pm
• Wednesdays: Early student dismissal at 12:45pm; weekly professional development after dismissal

Position 2:

• Grade level: 7th-8th Grade
• Classroom: Cross-categorical self-contained
• Teacher hours: 8:15am – 4:25pm; student hours 8:45am – 3:55pm
• Wednesdays: Early student dismissal at 1:55pm; weekly professional development after dismissal

Key Qualifications:

• Current Special Education Teacher certification in Arizona
• Active IVP fingerprint clearance card required
• Experience with ASD and/or cross-categorical classrooms is highly desirable
• Ability to collaborate with paraprofessionals and related service providers
