Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Ideal candidates are passionate about providing high-quality instruction and personalized support. You’ll have an adjustable caseload (to be announced) and work closely with staff to ensure each child's unique needs are met.

Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience working in self-contained classroom settings
• Familiarity with SEAL and PALS program methodologies is a plus
• Adaptability and enthusiasm for supporting students with diverse abilities
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Capable of working full-time (37.5 hours/week)
• Committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals
• Facilitate learning for students within self-contained classrooms
• Monitor progress and provide timely feedback to students and families
• Work collaboratively with instructional aides and related service providers
• Adapt curriculum and teaching methods for a range of learning abilities
• Participate in team meetings, ongoing professional development, and program planning
