Certified Pharmacy Technician

We are hiring for a sterile and non sterile compounding Pharmacy Technician here in the Fairfield, Ohio area! This role will primarily be performing sterile compounding for a long-term care pharmacy in the area. An ideal candidate will be a nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician; you do not need to have prior compounding experience, although it would be considered a plus. Responsibilities * Assist licensed pharmacists in accurately filling prescriptions under direct supervision. * Measure, count, and package medications in accordance with prescription guidelines and established procedures. * Affix appropriate labels to medication containers, including dosage instructions and safety warnings. * Enter prescription and patient information into pharmacy software systems with a high degree of accuracy. * Compound medications. Qualifications: * Must be actively Certified as a Pharmacy Technician Shift: 1st shift: 7am - 3pm 2nd shift: 4pm - 12am Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairfield, OH.
