Billing Specialist

Miyares Group, LLC is a growing public accounting firm seeking a Billing & Client Relations Specialist to join our team. This is a key administrative role responsible for managing client billing, collections, and ensuring an exceptional client experience throughout the engagement process and thereafter. The ideal candidate has prior experience working in a public accounting firm and understands the unique billing cycles, workflows, and client service expectations within the profession. Responsibilities Prepare and process client invoices accurately and timely. Manage accounts receivable and proactively follow up on outstanding balances. Maintain regular communication with clients regarding invoices, payments, and account inquiries. Process client payments and apply them to accounts. Coordinate with partners and managers regarding engagement billing and WIP. Assist with engagement letters and client onboarding as needed. Maintain accurate client records and billing information. Monitor aging reports and prepare collection updates. Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. Assist with administrative projects and other office duties as assigned. Qualifications Required: Minimum 2 years of experience in a public accounting firm . Experience with accounting firm billing processes and client communications. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Thomson Reuters Practice CS is a significant plus. Familiarity with Practice CS time and billing workflows. Experience using QuickBooks or other accounting software.
