Human Resources Manager / HR Business Partner Recruiters On Demand is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a well‑established, growing manufacturing organization for an experienced Human Resources Manager / HR Business Partner. This is an exciting opportunity to join the leadership team of a large manufacturing facility and play a strategic role in driving employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and business performance. Position Summary As the Human Resources Manager / HR Business Partner, you will serve as a trusted advisor to plant leadership while overseeing the full spectrum of Human Resources activities for a manufacturing operation. You will partner closely with leaders across the organization to support business objectives, strengthen organizational culture, and ensure HR programs and processes are effectively executed. This position is based onsite five days per week and includes leadership responsibility for an HR Generalist. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary HR Business Partner to site leadership, providing strategic guidance on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, talent development, and employee engagement. Foster positive employee relations across both hourly and salaried populations by coaching leaders and assisting with performance, disciplinary, compensation, development, and workplace concerns. Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and employment‑related matters. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies, programs, and best practices that support business objectives. Partner with Talent Acquisition to develop workforce plans and successfully recruit professional, manufacturing, and temporary employees. Manage relationships with staffing agencies and contingent workforce partners. Support compensation, benefits, performance management, rewards and recognition, training, and employee development initiatives. Lead onboarding, orientation, and new leader assimilation efforts to ensure successful integration of new employees. Champion the annual performance management process by coaching leaders on goal setting, performance feedback, employee development, and performance improvement. Provide leadership, coaching, and development for direct reports. Collaborate with corporate HR and cross‑functional business leaders on strategic HR initiatives and continuous improvement projects. Participate in special projects and other HR initiatives as assigned. Education Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required. Experience Minimum of 8 years of progressive Human Resources experience. At least 3 years serving as an HR Business Partner or HR Manager supporting business leaders. Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing, operations, or distribution environment. Experience supporting both hourly and salaried employee populations. Prior experience supervising HR staff is preferred. Preferred Qualifications Spanish language skills are a plus. Desired Skills & Competencies Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Strong employee relations and conflict resolution experience. Proven ability to influence, coach, and build credibility with leaders at all organizational levels. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR compliance. Excellent business acumen with the ability to align HR strategy with operational goals. Experience working in a collaborative, matrixed organization. Strong project management, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. A proactive, results‑oriented leadership style with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment. High degree of professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment.
