Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions for clients grappling with an array of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. \n Administer diagnostic assessments to understand clients’ needs, developing strategic treatment plans that align with their therapeutic goals. \n Engage in regular collaboration with an interdisciplinary team of professionals—such as psychiatrists, social workers, and educators—to orchestrate comprehensive care for clients. \n Utilize electronic health record systems for documentation, ensuring all information is accurate, confidential, and up-to-date. \n Participate in ongoing clinical supervision and professional development opportunities to remain informed about best practices in the field. \n Provide timely and effective crisis intervention, conducting thorough risk assessments when necessary. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n Our client population is diverse, encompassing individuals from varying backgrounds and lifestyles dealing with complex emotional challenges. Qualifications\n \n A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required. \n Active licensure as a mental health counselor in the state of New York. \n A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, working with individuals, groups, and families. \n Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with excellent organizational abilities. \n Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and familiarization with telehealth technologies. \n Preferred Experience\n \n Experience working within a telehealth environment, with an emphasis on remote client interaction. \n Specialization in areas such as trauma-informed care or substance abuse counseling is highly regarded. \n Previous involvement in crisis intervention and risk assessment practices. \n Compensation and Benefits\n We offer a competitive annual salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and education.
