Staff Accountant

We are partnering with a dynamic organization seeking a Staff Accountant with a strong focus on Accounts Payable and operational accounting. This role will support high-volume transactional processes across multiple locations while partnering closely with leadership to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and month-end close. Key Responsibilities Manage and support accounts payable processes, including invoice review, coding, approval workflows, and payment preparation Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders related to AP processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing across multiple locations Process Bills of Lading (BOLs) and create shipping documentation across multiple facilities, ensuring accuracy between shipped units and supporting documentation to enable proper invoicing Review shipping activity reports and reconcile against signed BOLs to validate completeness and accuracy prior to invoicing Support purchase card (P-card) administration, including monitoring usage, ensuring proper coding, and maintaining compliance with company policies Assist with vendor-related inquiries, research discrepancies, and resolve issues in a timely manner Maintain and support the fixed asset system, including: Processing capital expenditure (CapEx) requests Tracking asset activity across multiple locations Preparing and reconciling fixed asset schedules to the general ledger Assist with month-end close activities, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis Partner closely with Assistant Controllers and accounting leadership to support financial reporting and ongoing accounting initiatives Provide backup support to Accounts Receivable as needed, including limited invoicing and collaboration on collections efforts Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 1+ years of accounting experience with exposure to Accounts Payable and general ledger functions Experience supporting multi-location or high-volume transactional environments is a plus Experience with ERP systems and fixed asset software (Sage Fixed Assets or similar preferred) High attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with operations and leadership #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH
