This position is based onsite at our outpatient facility in Appomattox, VA, where you will work closely with a team of skilled healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations of each client's physical abilities and limitations.
• Administer hands-on therapeutic exercises and provide guidance on non-manual activities, ensuring patients understand and engage in their rehabilitation programs.
• Evaluate clients' progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary to optimize health outcomes.
• Oversee and mentor physical therapy assistants to ensure effective delivery of care within legal and organizational standards.
• Conduct assessments using diagnostic and prognostic tests to gauge muscle, nerve, and joint function.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during case conferences to develop holistic treatment strategies for patients.
• Maintain detailed clinical records, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Educate clients and their families on treatment protocols, the use of assistive devices, and strategies to enhance independence.
• Engage with community resources to support clients' rehabilitation and address barriers to care.
• Log and submit necessary documentation promptly and according to company policies, fostering seamless coordination of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will primarily involve working with a diverse population of clients who are recovering from various conditions such as orthopedic injuries, surgeries, neurological disorders, and chronic pain. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current valid PT license in good standing in the state of Virginia.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with automobile insurance.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills to effectively engage and motivate patients.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
