Feel Life Body Therapy & Home Care is actively seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our dynamic rehabilitation team in Appomattox, Virginia. This role is pivotal in guiding patients toward improved mobility and enhanced quality of life through individualized physical rehabilitation. Work Environment

This position is onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center, where teamwork and collaboration are fundamental to our approach. Our operating hours are Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized physical therapy interventions tailored to meet the unique goals and needs of each patient.
• Manage a caseload that allows for extensive one-on-one time with each patient, ensuring they receive the attention necessary for optimal recovery.
• Utilize advanced orthopedic techniques to assess and treat musculoskeletal conditions effectively.
• Incorporate evidence-based practices to design comprehensive treatment plans that emphasize non-surgical solutions and minimize reliance on medications.
• Inspire and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey by fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
• Monitor patient progress through continuous evaluation and adjustment of treatment strategies as needed.
• Maintain precise documentation using electronic medical record (EMR) software, ensuring compliance and high-quality patient care.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Promote health and wellness initiatives by designing fitness programs focused on enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in physical therapy techniques and research to apply best practices in patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population ranges from individuals recovering from surgery to those seeking treatment for chronic pain or sports-related injuries. You will be at the forefront of assisting clients in overcoming mobility challenges, enhancing their functional capabilities, and ultimately improving their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Possess an active and impeccable Physical Therapist license with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrable expertise in a variety of manual therapy techniques and exercise programming tailored to individual patient needs.
• Proficiency in using EMR software—experience with WebPT is preferred.
• Strong understanding of physical therapy methods supported by current research and best practices.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient clinic setting, particularly in orthopedic care, is highly valued.
• Experience in developing and delivering tailored wellness programs that enhance patient engagement.
• Familiarity with interdisciplinary collaboration and best practices in patient-centered care.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
