Motion Well Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Appomattox, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough consultations with patients to assess their physical condition, medical history, and specific symptoms.
• Diagnose movement dysfunction through comprehensive evaluations and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective treatment plans.
• Instruct patients on appropriate therapeutic exercise techniques, ensuring they understand correct execution for optimal recovery.
• Employ modalities such as massage and stimulation to support tissue healing and alleviate pain.
• Assist patients in the use of adaptive equipment, including wheelchairs and walkers, to enhance their mobility.
• Maintain accurate patient records, documenting progress towards goals and adapting treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about at-home treatment options and exercises to facilitate continued recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapists work with a varied patient demographic, treating individuals from different age groups and backgrounds. This role requires an empathetic approach towards patients with various diagnoses, from orthopedic injuries to neurological conditions, ensuring each patient feels heard and valued in their recovery journey. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.

Compensation and Benefits
