Work Environment

You will be working directly with fellow healthcare providers in a supportive environment focused on the rehabilitation journey of our clients. Our standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand each patient's specific needs and goals, ensuring personalized and effective treatment plans.
• Maintain a manageable caseload, allowing adequate time for each patient to receive the attention and care they deserve.
• Provide specialized care in orthopedic outpatient therapy, utilizing your prior experience as a Physical Therapist to make informed decisions.
• Implement cost-effective therapeutic interventions that enhance patients' movement and mobility, reducing reliance on more invasive treatments.
• Craft comprehensive care plans employing a variety of modalities, integrating exercise, manual therapy, and other innovative techniques.
• Motivate and guide patients through their recovery process, providing encouragement and support to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
• Continuously evaluate and document treatment efficacy, adjusting as needed to optimize patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care, sharing insights and coordinating treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to individuals seeking rehabilitation from post-surgical procedures and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will contribute significantly to empowering patients to regain their strength, mobility, and confidence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required.
• Active and clean Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• No history of sanctions or board proceedings against your license.
• Proficient in a variety of manual therapy techniques, with a track record of success in implementing tailored exercise programs.
• Ability to effectively use Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, particularly Web PT, to maintain accurate patient documentation.
• Commitment to staying current with evidence-based physical therapy practices and techniques.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient clinic setting is favored but not required.
• Experience working with diverse patient demographics and treatment needs.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing individualized rehabilitation programs.

Compensation and Benefits
