In this role, you will work closely with leaders and employees to support the full spectrum of HR activities, helping to drive organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and operational excellence. Responsibilities include:

• Serving as a trusted HR partner to employees and people leaders within the Detroit Automotive Hub
• Supporting day-to-day HR needs while helping to enhance the overall employee experience
• Providing guidance on HR policies, programs, and practices with a focus on consistency and fairness
• Acting as a connector between the hub and broader HR partners to ensure seamless support and communication
• Partnering with managers to support performance management, development planning, and ongoing feedback practices
• Contributing to talent discussions and helping identify opportunities for employee growth and capability building
• Supporting the execution of key talent processes, including performance cycles and organizational planning
• Assisting in addressing employee relations matters, providing thoughtful, balanced support with guidance from senior HR partners
• Promoting a respectful, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture
• Helping foster open communication and proactive issue resolution
• Ensuring effective and consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and employment practices
• Partnering with HR Operations to support onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes
• Maintaining data accuracy and supporting reporting and compliance requirements
• Collaborating with Talent Acquisition to support hiring efforts for the Detroit hub
• Participating in interview and selection processes as needed
• Supporting workforce planning and organizational changes in partnership with the business
• Helping convene and coordinate the Detroit leadership team around local priorities, initiatives, and hub-wide efforts
• Serving as a key point of contact for hub-specific needs, rhythms, and engagement opportunities
• Coordinating and helping lead Bose Social Impact partnerships with local Detroit-area service organizations
• Partnering with leaders and employees to design and deliver hub culture initiatives that strengthen engagement, belonging, and connection
• Translating enterprise-wide engagement and culture strategies into meaningful, locally resonant experiences for Detroit employees

We value:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
• 4-5 years of relevant HR experience (e.g., HR Coordinator, HR Generalist)
• Foundational knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and employee relations
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and credibility
• Effective communicator with sound judgment and discretion
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Interest in culture-building, community engagement, and hub-based leadership roles
• Demonstrated learning agility and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset

Preferred Experience:

• Experience or interest in the automotive or technology-driven environment
• Exposure to performance management and employee relations processes
• Familiarity with HR systems and data reporting

Compensation is thoughtfully tailored to your skills, experience, education, and location, and goes beyond base salary. The hiring range for this position in the primary work location of Troy, Michigan is: $79,100-$108,875. The hiring range for other Bose work locations may vary.
