After-School Program Coordinator (Part-Time)Position Title: After-School Program CoordinatorReports To: Executive DirectorSchedule: Approximately 20 hours/week (primarily weekday afternoons); includes 9 hours of weekly programmingMission / Role SummaryThe After-School Program Coordinator oversees the daily operations of That Neighborhood Church's After-School Program. This role creates a safe, structured, and relational environment where children are supported academically, socially, and spiritually. The ideal candidate is organized, relational, and passionate about serving children and families in an inner-city ministry context.Key Responsibilities1. After-School Program Leadership• Oversee daily after-school program operations• Ensure a safe, structured, and welcoming environment• Manage program schedule including homework time, activities, reading, math, and Bible time• Maintain attendance records and program organization2. Student Relationships• Build consistent, caring relationships with children• Provide mentorship and encouragement• Support students navigating difficult circumstances• Help cultivate a culture of respect and belonging3. Volunteer & Staff Coordination• Coordinate volunteers serving in the program• Provide clear direction for daily activities• Ensure proper supervision and safety procedures4.
