This Role Offers A great work/life balance No weekends or evenings – Monday thru Friday Paid holidays and paid time off Rapid growing team with opportunities for advancement Competitive compensation Benefits package Duties You Will Be Responsible For Daily Duties Scan procedure reports Assist with recalls Calculate procedure costs File documentation into eCW system Other duties as assigned Front Desk duties Ensure patient has current referral on date of service. Obtain referral if necessary. Verify insurance benefits and eligibility prior to office visits & procedures. Collect all applicable co-payment, coinsurance, deductible or outstanding balance from the patient & post all payments collected. Research & assist patients with questions regarding balances including collecting applicable payments. Medical Assistant Duties Triage patient, take vitals, enter chief complaint, past & present history into EMR system. Enter all current medications and prescription into EMR system. Ensure patient charts are complete and required records are requested. Call-in new prescriptions and refills and obtain authorization if necessary. Care Coordinator Duties Schedule all procedures to be performed by the physician. Obtains all authorizations for procedures and tests. Check-out patients at the end of their visit and provide next step instructions.
