Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental and emotional states through initial evaluations and ongoing sessions, tailoring your approach to meet individual needs.

• Create, implement, and regularly update personalized treatment plans that identify specific goals and strategies, ensuring they align with clients' evolving challenges and aspirations.
\n
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions for a diverse clientele, addressing concerns ranging from anxiety and depression to relationship issues and trauma recovery.
\n
• Lead couples therapy sessions designed to enhance communication, foster understanding, and resolve conflicts effectively.
\n
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, including progress notes and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
\n
• In crisis situations, provide immediate support and intervention strategies to assist clients in distress.
\n
• Engage with interdisciplinary teams, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to craft comprehensive care paths for shared clients.
\n
• Participate in ongoing professional development, staying updated on the latest research and techniques in marriage and family therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapists work with a varied patient population that includes teens, adults, and couples from diverse backgrounds. This role requires not only expertise in dealing with a wide array of mental health concerns but also the ability to foster trusting relationships with clients to create a safe and welcoming atmosphere for therapy.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
\n
• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) issued by the relevant state authorities.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in providing both individual and couples therapy.
\n
• Strong skills in the timely completion of client assessments, treatment plans, and documentation.
\n
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills, along with experience learning and using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with both child and adult client populations.
\n
• Demonstrated success in various therapeutic modalities and approaches, including, but not limited to, CBT, DBT, and family systems therapy.

• Previous experience working in community health settings.
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
