Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking a highly skilled Complex Commercial Litigation Attorney on behalf of a prestigious law firm in Coral Gables, Florida.

Our client is seeking an experienced attorney with 5+ years of complex commercial litigation experience to join their growing litigation practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney who enjoys handling sophisticated matters, working closely with clients, and taking ownership of complex litigation cases from inception through resolution.

Responsibilities:

• Manage complex commercial litigation matters involving business disputes, contract disputes, and other high-stakes litigation issues.
• Handle all phases of litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests/responses, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice to clients.
• Take and defend depositions and participate in hearings, mediations, and negotiations.
• Collaborate with partners and litigation teams on complex matters.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide exceptional legal representation.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active Florida Bar admission in good standing.
• 5+ years of experience practicing complex commercial litigation.
• Strong experience with federal and state court litigation.
• Excellent legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience handling sophisticated business disputes and complex litigation matters.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience handling high-value commercial disputes.
• Trial experience or significant courtroom exposure.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
