We have flexible hours available whether you are looking to pick up just a couple of shifts per week or work as many as six days per week. Front Desk Representatives are responsible for keeping the club and equipment clean, neat, and orderly, as well as greeting and assisting members, making smoothies and working together with Sales and Kids Place staff to maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment. Our staff members are treated to a complimentary gym membership to all our clubs! AVAILABLE SHIFTS: Evenings 2pm - 8pm (Monday - Friday) Mornings 8am - 12pm (Saturday) Security shifts available outside of regular staffed hours per request ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Greets and checks in all members and guests Sells retail products and services Answers and directs all incoming phone calls, updates billing Fields all member complaints and concerns Performs Opening and Closing Procedures for the club Cleaning and organizing the equipment and the club Must be able to lift 50 pounds, typing and standing for long periods of time Maintains professionalism and appearance When not assisting members; avoids eating, sitting, reading, Internet surfing, or any other activities that are not work-related Other duties as assigned REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent team and leadership skills A comprehensive understanding customer service/guest relations Must be highly motivated and energetic and organized Ability to multitask An understanding of health club operations Must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends as necessary Must be a team player, willing to cover or trade shifts when necessary REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Experience in a health club or the hospitality industry is preferred College degree preferred CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications or will be provided ABOUT US: Zoo Health Club Derry has many amenities such as 24/7/365 member keycard access, state-of-the-art cardio and strength training equipment, group fitness classes, babysitting, DrinkFit smoothie bar, Blitz45 Functional Training, RunTV cardio, personal training, nutrition coaching, training turf, locker room, showers, steam rooms, electric saunas, tanning and more.
