Branch Manager Job Type : Full-time; On-site Responsibilities Report directly to the Senior Vice President. Develop & manage all sales and operations, including market competitiveness, pricing, and channel growth strategies for the branch. Create profitable growth revenue with current accounts, while soliciting new sources of revenue and profit. Develop & grow the inside sales, account management, and carrier sales teams. Hiring & firing responsibilities. Train, coach and mentor employees within a collaborative environment. Establish and manage carrier relations and development activities that support the execution of strategies and action plans to enable the profitable growth of the business unit. Work in coordination with other company resources to develop the strategic and tactical direction for the business unit and establish management processes. Experience College Degree preferred 6+ years of prior Freight Brokerage Sales and Operations experience 2+ years of Sales Management experience Understanding of the following modes of transportation: Truckload, LTL, Intermodal & Specialized. Strong Selling Skills Strong Negotiation Ability (Carrier, Customer, Margin Integrity) Ability to develop and execute business plan strategies Computer literate (Microsoft Suite: Power Point, Word, Excel) Prior P&L responsibility.
