Accounting Assistant

Job Summary We are seeking an Accounting Assistant for a direct hire opportunity in Chino, CA. This full‑time role is ideal for a detail‑oriented accounting professional with 1 to 2 years of experience who enjoys variety, accuracy, and being part of a busy office team. The Accounting Assistant will support day‑to‑day accounting and administrative functions, including invoicing, purchase orders, payroll entry, job documentation, and light inventory adjustments. Candidates with experience in construction, manufacturing, or a similar project‑based environment are especially encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Prepare and process invoices, billing documents, purchase orders, and related accounting paperwork. Perform purchase order entry and assist with 3‑way matching for accurate vendor and job cost processing. Pull time‑clock reports and enter payroll information into ADP accurately and on schedule. Support job‑related documentation, including waivers, liens, and certificate of insurance requests. Assist with phone coverage, general office support, and communication with vendors, insurance agents, and internal departments. Help with inventory adjustments and other accounting support tasks as needed. Compensation and Benefits Pay range: $20 to $23 per hour. Job type: Temp to hire, or Direct hire. Schedule: Full‑time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a 1‑hour lunch. For temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, the company offers major medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and any statutory sick pay where required.
