Position Overview

• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures by providing clear explanations and reassurance
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-stakes diagnostic images
• Skillfully operate ultrasound equipment while maintaining its functionality, promptly reporting any issues
• Maintain meticulous documentation of procedures and secure patient records in the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of innovations in ultrasound methodologies and best practices for imaging

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preference for candidates who have completed a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification strongly desired
