What You Will Do

• Conduct a range of clinical laboratory testsspanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyondin accordance with established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for precision, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and ensure samples are appropriately prepared for testing as necessary.
• Ensure thorough documentation of all procedures, facilitate the onboarding of new staff or students, and help maintain the high standards of lab quality.
• Uphold a clean and safe work environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• A bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health field, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is required within the first year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your employment tenure.
