Your Responsibilities

• Examine results for precision, address discrepancies, and execute preventative maintenance along with calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis when required.
• Meticulously document all processes, mentor new staff or students, and strive to uphold superior lab quality standards.
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education Required

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a comparable allied health degree alongside preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Required

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Continuous maintenance of certification throughout the duration of employment.
