Location: Springfield Regional Medical Center, Springfield, OH

Start Date: 08/24/2026

End Date: 09/18/2026 (potential extension)

Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am 5:00 pm; On-call (in-house/beeper) 3:00 pm 7:00 am, Weekends 24-hour onsite support and call

Hours/Week: 40 hours/week

Licensure/Certifications: Active Nurse Practitioner license

Experience: Preferably 2+ years in cardiothoracic or vascular surgery settings

What You'll Do

• Provide post-operative care for cardiothoracic and vascular patients
• Assist in emergency surgeries on cardiothoracic and vascular cases
• Take and manage consults/referrals from ED, Cath Lab, and hospital providers
• Perform vein harvesting during surgeries
• Assist in surgical procedures and documentation
• Take patient histories, interpret tests, and order diagnostics
• Coordinate care and ensure smooth patient transitions
• Responsible for prescribing and managing medications
• Document in Epic EMR system

What You Need

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Ohio
• Experience in cardiothoracic or vascular surgery preferred
• Strong procedural skills including vein harvesting and post-op care
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and clinical skills
