Job Description

• Design Personalized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' requirements and create individualized therapy strategies aimed at helping them achieve their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based interventions to enhance patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and activities of daily living
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Partner closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Guide Patients and Their Families: Provide education to patients and caregivers on therapeutic methods to support continued improvement at home
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor patient outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring they remain on the path to recovery

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Ongoing education and additional certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
