Position Overview

Stand-By Personnel is seeking a detail-oriented Assembler / Tester II to join a growing manufacturing team in Oklahoma City. This position is responsible for assembling, testing, calibrating, and preparing valve and choke products for shipment while ensuring all components meet customer specifications and company quality standards.

The ideal candidate has manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience, enjoys hands-on work, and is committed to producing high-quality products in a safe and efficient production environment.

Required Experience & Skills
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 1-3 years of manufacturing, assembly, or mechanical experience preferred
• Ability to read and follow work orders, technical instructions, and safety procedures
• Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control
• Basic math skills, including fractions, decimals, and measurements
• Ability to work independently while following established production procedures
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Assemble valve and choke components according to work orders and engineering specifications
• Use hand tools and power tools to complete assembly operations accurately and efficiently
• Test and calibrate assembled products to ensure they meet required tolerances and customer specifications
• Identify components that fail testing and perform necessary repairs or adjustments
• Maintain accurate testing logs, calibration records, and production documentation
• Apply serial numbers and quality stamps for product traceability
• Inspect completed assemblies to verify compliance with quality standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Perform additional assembly and production duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience assembling industrial valves, chokes, or mechanical equipment
• Experience performing product testing and calibration
• Familiarity with quality inspection procedures and manufacturing documentation
• Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting skills

Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday
• Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and repetitive hand movements
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to safely work around manufacturing equipment while wearing required PPE
