Quality Control - Screener

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control - Screener to inspect and sort parts to ensure they meet company and customer quality standards. This role is essential in identifying defects, maintaining product consistency, and supporting overall production quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Visually inspect parts and components for defects or irregularities
• Sort and separate conforming and non-conforming materials
• Follow inspection criteria, work instructions, and quality standards
• Perform basic measurements using gauges or inspection tools (as needed)
• Document inspection results and report quality issues
• Rework or clean parts when required
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Communicate with supervisors and quality personnel regarding defects or trends
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous quality inspection or manufacturing experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic math and counting skills
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Submission to a criminal background check

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with basic inspection tools (calipers, gauges)
• Understanding of quality standards and procedures
• Ability to work independently and efficiently

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
• Perform repetitive inspection tasks
• Lift up to 25–40 lbs as needed
• Good vision (corrected) for detailed visual inspection
